Kally Canfield was born and raised near the small town of Troy, Pennsylvania.  She received her BA in Sociology with a minor in Social Work from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Since age 16, Kally has been working in the social work field.

Shortly after graduating from Clarion University, Kally spontaneously decided to move to Washington DC, where she quickly fell in love with the city. She worked with a transitional residential program that helped integrate consumers dealing with severe mental illness into the community. She joined the Neighbors First team as a case manager in March 2010 and in November of 2011, she began working as the Team Leader of Veterans First.

Kally loves spending time outdoors - swimming, hiking, and kayaking. She also likes reading, knitting, hanging out with friends and exploring the city in her free time.
