Jermaine Hampton Jermaine Hampton was born in Detroit Michigan and grew up in the Washington, DC metro area. Jermaine attended Gaithersburg High School in Maryland where he played basketball, football, and track. He excelled at Track & Field which eventually landed him a spot at Virginia State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2005.
Jermaine brings a wealth of experience to the table as Director for both the AimHire and Before Thirty programs. Before joining the Friendship Place team in Feb 2011, Jermaine worked as a government contractor for Montgomery County as a Case Manager specializing in employment services, education and training. In addition to his workforce development background Jermaine also has a great deal of experience in business management and the nonprofit HR field.
Jermaine is a highly motivated professional who strives for excellence and truly has a passion for helping people. He is a creative, analytical, and results-oriented individual who welcomes challenges, thrives on hard work, and new learning opportunities with superb business acumen and entrepreneurial competencies. Jermaine is a current member of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals, and under his leadership AimHire was the recipient of the 2012 Tyler Christian Rusch Help the Homeless Award.
